VALENTINO, Rhinestone, Clip on Earrings, Very Unusual, 1970's

Understated but, Dramatic are these Valentino Clip on Earrings from the 1970's. Each Gold Tone Square setting is set diagonally with mid Blue Rhinestones appear to float, as between each stone the setting is open to which gives the earrings an open feeling almost "lace- like " appearance. At the lower left corner Sparkling Clear Baguettes are set on the Diagonal to add a bit contrast and drama to each. The backings are set in the center so when worn they fall on the square with the stones at an angle...Each is incised VALENTINO and measure 1 1/2" Square.
